Course outline (broadly): The quantum central force problem and angular momentum, hydrogen atom, addition of angular momenta, perturbation theory (time-independent non-degenerate and degenerate), Stark,Zeeman effects, fine structure etc in the Hydrogen atom, variational methods and the Helium atom, quasi-classical (WKB) approximations, time-dependent potentials and perturbation theory, scattering.
